The 10th of August 2006 saw the ushering of a new era for a converged communication system in the region's enterprise communication landscape. Suria Business Solutions, the Ericsson Advanced Partner, in collaboration with Ericsson, launched the MX-One and Marconi range of products to much fanfare, in Ritz Carlton, Kuala Lumpur. More than 160 enterprise customers, representing major government bodies, universities, telecommunication companies, and major corporations, were present to witness this launch.

Suria Business Solutions participated in the first International Conference on Slopes 2006 in the Putra World Trade Centre on 6 - 9 August, 2006. SBS demonstrated its concept and approach of Real Time Slope Early Warning System. It showcased its capabilities through simulations and presentations and by displaying various monitoring equipments such as GPS, ILRIS 3-D Laser Scanner and Rain & Water Level Monitoring System.

Representative from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia and our East Malaysia dealer, MAHIR DERAS attended the MD110 O&M Training organized by Suria on 20th to 22nd June 2006.

Another Business Phone Operation & Maintenance Hospitality training program for three representatives from Executive Development Centre of Universiti Utara Malaysia was held on 28th to 29th June 2006.

On the 29th of May, two representatives from Suria Business Solutions attended the Partner Growth Meeting in Berlin, Germany. This global event touched on issues in the enterprise market, market trends, and the sharing of information on how we can serve our customers better. All in all, more than 350 participants from 50 countries attended this event, which was a resounding success.
