Aspect, a leading provider of customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant of the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Contact Center Infrastructure Worldwide.  

In this annual report, Gartner analyzes vendors in the market based on two key criteria -- the ability to execute and completeness of vision. According to Gartner, leaders are high-viability vendors with broad portfolios, significant market shares, broad geographic coverage, a clear vision of how contact center needs will evolve and a proven track record of delivering contact center products. They are well-positioned with their current product portfolio and likely to continue delivering leading products. Leaders do not necessarily offer a best-of-breed solution for every customer requirement. However, overall their products are strong and often have some exceptional capabilities. Additionally, these vendors provide solutions that present relatively low risk.

("NET") (NASDAQ: NWK) announced today that its Tenor DX gateway was certified for interoperability with Skype Connect™, a business solution that can help companies lower their monthly communications costs. As a result, business customers can benefit from the cost-saving features of Skype Connect through interoperability with their legacy TDM or IP-PBX equipment, with little or no additional upgrades required.

This will enable small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) using legacy TDM and IP-PBX equipment to make calls to landlines and mobile phones around the world billed at Skype's low per-minute business calling rates. Aastra Telecom Sdn Bhd was recently named the recipient for 2011 Frost & Sullivan Excellence Award for Enterprise Telephony of The Year.

Aastra was chosen as the winner by an independent panel of judges for exemplary growth and performance in Malaysia’s telephony market in 2010. Aspect Recognized by Frost & Sullivan as Outbound Contact Market Leader

Aspect, a leading provider of customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions, today announced that it has been named the Global Market Share Leader for the outbound dialer systems market by Frost & Sullivan based on product revenue in 2009. Frost values the global outbound dialer systems market at $250 million, based on product revenue, and attributes 22.3 percent of that revenue to Aspect.

 According to the report the key vertical markets for outbound contact are banking and financial services, collections agencies, outsourcers, telecommunications, retail and consumer, healthcare, and public sector, with the consumer market primarily comprised of global airlines, transportation and technology enterprises.
