Company Overview

Brief History

Suria Business Solutions Sdn Bhd or 'Suria' was formed in 2000. Suria took over Ericsson's enterprise business in Malaysia following the Swedish telecom giant's decision to outsource its sales and service operations in many countries around the world to local companies. Suria was appointed Aastra Sales and Service Partner to oversee the Malaysia and Brunei markets. Later in 2005, Suria was promoted to Ericsson Advanced Partner status. In 2008, Aastra Telecom acquired the Ericsson enterprise business worldwide. Due to the change of ownership from Ericsson to Aastra, Suria is now known as Aastra Advanced Partner.

Our Business

Suria started its business as a PBX supplier. We are Malaysia's leading supplier of enterprise telephony products. Our key target markets are the medium and large enterprise segments (MLE). We import, sell and service Ericsson enterprise products (now known as Aastra) in Malaysia and the region. Our core product is the iconic MD110 PBX. It was later renamed as MX-ONE Telephony System. Beside the MX-ONE, we also offer other Aastra products such as the Aastra Businessphone, the Aastra Solidus eCare multimedia contact center solutions and the Aastra Contact Management solution (CMG).

SuriaUCWe are also actively involved in the Unified Communications business. Suria is the first company in Malaysia to become a Microsoft Certified Partner specializing in Unified Communications (UC). Currently Suria is one of only two voice companies certified as a Microsoft Voice Specialized Partner (VSP). Our main UC offering is the Microsoft Lync 2010 (formerly known as Microsoft OCS). We also partnered with other Microsoft's technology partners such as Aspect and NET, in order to provide complete unified communications solutions to our customers.

Beside providing pre-sales and after sales maintenance services, we also offer system and user trainings to companies wishing to train their staff to better maintain Aastra products. Our Operations and Maintenance training classes are attended by companies from local and outside Malaysia. Through other business units, Suria is also venturing into the CCTV and LED Lights businesses. We are partnering with leading brands like Samsung and Amoluxe to distribute, sell and service their products in Malaysia.

Organization Structure

Suria is a 100% bumiputera ICT company owned by ESURIA DOT COM Sdn Bhd. Our head office is in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. We have support centers in Kota Kinabalu and Penang and a subsidiary company in Indonesia-PT Suria Solusi Indonesia (SSI). Suria's current workforce is a mixed of voice and applications, very experienced and well-trained professionals.

Our Customers

Suria has over 300 customers in Malaysia and about 500 in Indonesia. Our customers are mostly the Medium and Large enterprises. Key accounts are public universities, financial institutions, public hospitals, oil and gas companies, GLCs, military base, public utility companies and telcos.
